Do we eventually have to give SSN to PayPal?

Can we get around PayPal limitation without giving them SSN number? If we have a business, Fed Tax ID?
And if I have to eventually will they share this with eBay to check if I am linked to any suspended accounts? I dont have any limited PayPal accounts. I have given my SSN to PayPal long time ago but that PP account is still good accept it is linked to a suspended eBay account.
I just want to know this because I am going to get a business registered and everything to open new eBay and PayPal accounts ad want to think that it will all be wasted..

Eventually yes, but only if you have between 1200-1500 per day going through your Paypal account. The last time I checked anyway.

You can use Business Tax ids too, but don't give it to Paypal unless they ask for it. And yes you don't want use the same Paypal account with multiple eBay accounts, eBay and Paypal link accounts almost instantly now.

How do you downgrade it? and I have few old paypal accounts I dont remember which one got my ssn. is there a way to check?

also I am not doing $1000 or more a day..may be $500 tops..so Aspkin, if I keep my incoming money around $500 I shouldnt stumble upon any obstacles and have a smooth ride?
