MC081 suspension please help
 

I registered with ebay uk (never had an ebay account before) 5 days ago, but yesterday, I got hit with a MC081 suspension. I've read other posts on this subject but my case seems abit different.

It seems other people with this problem have registered to be sellers, but I never have, all I want to do is buy. I can't see what I have done wrong.

Any advice guys?

Do they want you to send in ID, invoices etc?

Does anyone else in your Place with acess to that Same computer you used to create your Ebay account ever have an Ebay account?, if the awnser is yes, and that persons account is suspended, then Ebay Linked the 2 Accounts together, and Poof, they suspended your account well.


An MC081 Basically allows Ebay to suspend an account for ANY Reason they want, all they tell you is : "for the safty of the Ebay community" They NEVER give you the Specific reason with an MC081 Suspension

Okay, usually they ask you to make an appointment and then they call you back. They have jumped past this and gone straight for the verification method of sending in documents. From my experience and reading what other people have posted on here, they will review your ID etc. and reinstate your account. Sometimes, they don't. That's part and parcel of setting up an eBay account. If they suspend your account, I suggest you get the Stealth Guide.
