Ok, so they read your MAC address... and if they see that I have just changed my MAC address... then what?

they asked multiple choice questions. I looked public records first etc and kinda looked around but didn't succeed on what they asked. However I passed because I just got lucky.

Does anyone have a way around this "verify your identity crap"?

How can the EVER KNOW that YOU Personally changed your MAC Address???

All they are going to Know is that a "Fresh, Never Before Seen" MAC Address is Associated to a "Fresh, Never Before Seen" Account Which is EXACTLY What you Want,,,,

If they do, then the only way would be if they download and execute an ActiveX onto your computer. For that, you would need to totally disable your browser's settings -or- accept ActiveX controls from the website.

And who in their right mind does that anyways? :shocked:

Uh-oh. I have never read anywhere that it was NOT ok to use Internet Explorer for stealth accounts. Did I miss something??? Very nervous! If someone could please respond I'd really appreciate it!

Does it really matter if routing numbers or banks are the same? A little worried about this as I am living in Western Canada, but all my bank accounts have routing numbers in Eastern Canada (as I used to live there, and it is soooo easy to open new bank accounts online, as long as you are opening them at the same branch as your primary account - which I have never gotten around to changing).

Did you receive that in all your accounts? And are they telling you to call eBay?
Usually they ask you multiple choice questions and you choose ''none of the above'' and you would pass

Update***
all accounts are running good. However a few have been limited on paypal due to the SS problem I have. I have some as business accounts and they want the social from the owner of the company etc. even if it is a LLC etc. They said even a DUNs number isn't useful since the business hasn't been opened for 3 years etc.

Any takers?

Actually, what I meant was, I have an Amazon account that runs on my regular MAC address. I also have a couple eBay/Paypal accounts running on the same computer. I manually change the MAC address in my router settings when switching between the eBay accounts in order to change the IP. But once, I logged into Amazon before switching back to my regular MAC address. So am I screwed because they will see 2 different MAC addresses (with only 1 digit difference) on my Amazon acccount? So far, it doesnt seem to have created a problem. But Im curious.

Well I been doing this for 4 years and that is your best best. I don't do that though. Vmware is your friend. You know so many combinations can be made with just that. I don't do that either though. Vic has valueable information though, but I don't use it. There's a lot of loopholes out there still.

guys, heads up for multi windows users, periodically check your browsers on panopticclick, I noticed leakages of same named files on browser that is on other windows too, even though those files were not viewed or stored on that particular window. Different downloads you innocently put on your PC can be culprits, particularly media players. Also vary your plugins and java on browsers on all your windows, scatter different ones on each window, disable and enable and vary....
