newbie here: my idea of how to get funds off my ⊗⊗⊗⊗ paypal account...critique plz

okay, i recieved a large payment to my ⊗⊗⊗⊗ paypal funds. here is my idea:

transfer the money to my real account from my ⊗⊗⊗⊗ account. then buy something from a website that accepts paypal from my real account and sell whatever i buy on ebay using my real account....

will this work?

There was another person that had a similar thread going. He said when he tried to move the 'large' amount of funds from his ⊗⊗⊗⊗ PP to real PP that his accounts got frozen. At the moment it looks like he is going to have to wait 180 days for the funds to be released....

smyth 01-11-2008 05:49 PM

like 10,000 worth?

smyth 01-11-2008 06:54 PM

what should i search? i tried prepaid visa and got 2 results...

The other item is that is extremely liquid is gold/platinum bullion, the bars..as well as Graded Gold coins/ St. Gaudens etc. will eat up $2500 -$4000 quick

He's just looking for a way to get his money faster. Any sane person would have a problem having $10,000 sitting in their account for 6 months before they can have access to it. It's not retarded...

What i did one time is have my brother buy from me and pay with paypal. Then once the funds get frozen, i sent the money to him (you can send the money to people who bought from you) then he withdrew it and gave it to me.

Hey, that's a pretty good idea. You weren't doing a refund to him, but instead just choosing the amount to send? So in theory he could buy something from you for $1 and you could send him $1500 if needed?

ebayhateluv 01-12-2008 11:08 AM

They only allow you to refund up to the amount that person sent originally.

Rook 01-12-2008 11:18 AM

I do understand that part about actual refunding (and I think you only have 60 or 90 days to do so). But the way I understood Mijusdek, was that he was able to 'send' money to his brother because it was a previous customer. Maybe he meant refunded though.

HI- Yes, that can be done, unless they freeze BOTH accts under their "for your protection" clause... (They took down 2 of my accts for sending money from one to another)-blocked/backed out all transfers--one was 33 days old... then wanted explanations, invoices, tracking numbers, etc...so just be carefull.(just sharing experience with you) :)), BTW- my amts were like $280,$300,$330, and $370-- all in 35 day period..

Whoa that's alot of transactions to the same account. About 2 yrs ago, I did the same thing...but back then I had 2 accounts under my own name. They called me and I told them one of my accounts was for my girlfriend and I was sending her money. They said since both accounts were my own, they consider that a cash advance - and at the time it wasn't allowed. But the lady over the phone was nice and just let it go as a warning.

But now, they actually have an option for "cash advance" under send money...I'm not sure if it's meant to be used the same way or what.

sycore 01-12-2008 10:41 PM

That is how i send between my ⊗⊗⊗⊗ accounts, as cash advance, No invoices or tracking info to make up.

Ballsack 01-13-2008 06:23 PM

What does seem retarded though is having $10,000 sitting in a paypal account.
