closing a bank account...

when you close a bank account, is all the info deleted, or could paypal/ebay still get your name/address info with the account/routing number even if the bank account has been deleted? thanks.

I'm pretty sure they can't because even if they do, u can always say "The reason I closed it was because someone got ahold of my account info"...therefore PP has nothing to say to the owner of the closed bank account.

EBay / Paypal shouldn't be able to get your banking details when your account is open, let alone closed.

ok, thanks. so do banks delete all of your info once they close your account? or could they still pull it up if necessary?

okay, so the question is....if I used my real bank account with a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ paypal account, withdrew the funds to my bank account, then closed my bank account, could paypal find out my real name/info?

NO. (I would say no- but if its a Fraud situation, where theres lots of dollars involved)-- then any law inforcement agency can get anything under the 911 act..
