accused of shill bidding very scared
 

hey guys im new here, My friend lives with me and was interested in the ball i posted on ebay. he didnt know i posted it until i already had it up.He has been bidding on it the last couple of days trying to win it. he uses the same computer as me, and Hes bought stuff from me on ebay in the past and i had nooooo idea it was against the rules/law hes bid a bunch on this baseball i have posted now and i think hes going to win it. Im afraid hes going to win it because the top bid atm is $66 and he bid $200 so I am active on another forum were i posted the auction for them if they were interested.They saw he bid a ton of times (someone retracted there high bid so it shows up him bidding 7 times in a row) and they are all accusing me of shill bidding. I really dont want to go to prison over something we didnt do intentionally. what should i do about it?

Prison are you kidding :D :D :D the worst thing that they can do to you is suspending an that's all.

But seriously selling and buying from one computer is quite suspiciously.

Prison for this kind of violation is silly young forum member =) Worst comes worst, you will be kicked off of ebay and your IP will be banned.

Search the forums for posts on "shill bidding" - and what you are saying sounds suspicious of its own way...you are playing with fire on your ebay account. People get nailed with shill bidding regularly - be careful.

Funny or not, it is shill bidding and against ebay policy.

Be aware of the chances of suspension. BUT more importantly dont try to con us with the you did not know line.

Go to ebay and read all you can on how to be a good little ebay buyer/seller. :rolleyes:
