Ebay Phone Numbers not in service?
 
I just got hit with a mc010, and for some reason I couldn't find eBay's phone number anywhere. I click on the mc010 email where it said to click this link to contact us. I click on the link and it took me to their contact eBay page, however they only had Chat with us or Email us. Well of course I can't do any of those, as I need to call them to verify my account before they close and I only of 48hrs. So I tried contacting eBay through chat with us because I know emailing them was not going to get me anywhere. I spoke with the lady on eBa chat and she told me to click the contact us tab, and then on the right hand side there should be call us button, and I will be provided with a web pin. I follow her steps and I told her there is no call us button, so she gave me the Trust and Safety number to call for mc010 verification, and I thank her for her service. I call the number and guess what it said not in service. What is going on, I only have 48 hrs to call ebay to remove mc010 verification, and their phone number is not in service! Right now I'm waiting to talk to a rep in their chat.

I am having the same problem. I have to call eBay to verify my id. I have tried puting in the date and time but it does not go through.
I have emailed but has usual it is going to be no use.
Now i do not know what would happened, i have atleast email to alert them of the problem, so i can have some sort of proof.


apple6 have you got through? What's you next step?

I've noticed alot of people receiving this. But I'm still not sure what triggers this.

What type of items were you listing? VERO items?

I am was listing a cross sticth design. So have no idea. Although the address was alittle stealth.

Yes, I got through I use eBay chat to talk with someone directly, and I told them about the problem and they gave me a direct phone number to call eBay. And I had to wait over 30 mins for someone to pick up. I call them and they transfer me to a account specialist and ask me the same questions such as what zip codes have you live in, and what county did you grew up in? I said non of the above. I had one more question to answer and then the phone got disconnected during the verification of the account! (disconnect). So I had to call again and wait another 30 mins, and got another account specialist on the phone, and that specialist told me that they knew I had already call and I pass the verification! I couldn't believe that I pass eventhough I wasn't even able to answer the last question for the verification before the phone disconnect. If you need the direct ebay number pm me. Btw, since I list a vero designer pair of shoe and bought this eBay account it might have trigger MC010.

The next time you guys buy accounts, build it up to at least (10) feedback by selling only non-vero related items(things around the house, etc...) and then sell your VERO products and report back to us. :)

I did not purchase any accounts at all, I never purchase them because i like to know all the details for the account.
I did not even list a vero nor i have done so in the past, i think it is a random thing. I opened an account yesterday night all went through fine, with some need to confirm with bank account.
So i would wait and see what happens.

Sounds like my experience on hold the last time...3 different calls on 2 different days and almost burned through my entire time on my 60 minute spoof card (that I bough on ebay...LOL)

I almost freaked when at the very end of the call the spoof card voice broke in and said "your available credits are low, to add credits..."

I think the rep has already hung up though...I almost wet myself though.

I'm assuming they must have discoonected or at the very least did not hear that side of the conversation
