address question?
 

Do you guys think it would be okay to use the address of someone on the same street as you? Like your neighbor next door? For example: your real address 1132 **** road and ⊗⊗⊗⊗ 1131 **** road. Would this seem too suspicious?

I'm doing it now with no problems.

As long as you do not have issues with people wanting to return items.

If I have a problem like this I tell them to keep it as a gift and return their money.

You have to be ahead of the buyer so they do not return anything.

I put in bogus or partial addresses on every Ebay account. The only problem is you can't do that with Paypal due to bank accounts and credit card linking and Ebay owns Paypal. If they really want your info, they will get it.

If you use a neighbor there naturally has to be other differences. You cant use a similar name and a similar address. Too close to be safe.

if you are not going to actually use the address for returns [neighbor gets package and tells you] why use one so close anyway? No access 20 feet or 20 miles is the same. Dont see the advantage to using neighbor if you dont actually get anything there

Why don't you just use another address that's not on the same street? i mean if your neighbor is selling the same product as you i think that would be suspicions.

I did that ones and used the last name of my neighbor only because I couldn't think of anything else quick. I used it only once for shipping. guess what: they got a call from the post 4 weeks later and asked who that person is because there was a huge parcel at the post office to be sent out and the postage was not enough!!! so they called me (they know I sell) and asked if this was me by any chance. I said no why should I? and my neighbors are really good sort of friends but it was pretty embarrassing. I think it depends on how big the city is and how good you know the postmaster. I don't have a house number on the one street so I make any one up, and the other street I just put in what I want. the post person knows for whom all the parcels are.
