Unpaid item suspension

Has anyone been successfuly reinstated after being suspended due to unpaid item suspension?

I use Ebay for buying stuffs mostly and selling occasionally. I have gotten about 200+ feedback on my first Ebay account. Later, I decided to create a separate account just to buy on eBay. Just after I made several purchases, I had major life crisis and I was never logged on Ebay for about three months. When I returned, my account had been suspended because I got 4 unpaid strikes within a week (no negative feedback though). I contacted the sellers and explained my situation but only one were willing to resolve. The others did not reply. Since I don't like the idea of having another account and being afraid they would suspend my account one day, I sent the payment for two of the unpaid items and submitted my appeal to eBay. One payment that I sent was not claimed by the seller and eBay emailed me that they cannot process my appeal until the payment received by seller. I resent the payment and never heard back from eBay until now. What makes me upset is they never remove the strike at all. It has been two months since I provided them my proof of payment and now when I checked my dispute console, the strikes were still there. Yesterday, I tried to resubmit my appeal but now the item number has become invalid and it would not let me submit the form without entering item number. I managed to find another link to appeal for suspension and the reply that I got is the email with steps on how to submit appeal, which is the same email I got from eBay everytime I question my account suspension. The email even shows the items that I have paid as unpaid. Clearly, they never bother to process my appeal. This is getting frustrating.

I wonder if eBay would ever really reinstate a suspended account?

if more than 90days have elapsed, sellers are non-coperative with you then forget the account and dont waste time its the hard truth your account is gone.. accept it and move on

Could the seller remove the strike? I have always thought appealing to eBay is the only way. It has been more than 90 days though

yes seller has always the authority to remove the strikes.. take them into confidence ... beg them brag them bribe them.. most sellers are co-operative explain them the situation.. if it was me i would help as long as payment is received..

They will if you settle your negatives.

But if you just buy one eBay, you won't have any problems created a new account and buying again. Try it.

I have lifted the strike when someone has asked me to.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I just contacted one uncooperative seller and she finally removed the strike. I wish I knew about this earlier. Dealing with eBay is hopeless

I have already tried creating a new account. I use simon gift card to pay all the items that I buy and I always register it with different name and address. I have managed to get about 20+ feedback even though I use same Paypal account, until one day when I sold a book on half.com. Within two days after receiving the payment, my account was linked and suspended.

I actually only want to close my suspended account. It only has 5 positive feedback while my very first account on eBay that I've had for years already has 200+ positive fb. I've never logged into that account ever since I got suspended so eBay still has not found out yet.

if you clear your cookies using ccleaner or something, change your IP, and never log into a suspended account you should be able to use that acct w/ 200+ feedback as long as none of the info (address, name, zip) match the suspended account.

yes-if trying to revive that acct/get strikes removed..If it were me..if you owe the sellers $20-send them $30 with an apology..also look through your old emails-the sellers address I'd there-mail them a postal money order with a card of thanks for helping..a Hallmark Card... * Now-who's gonna turn a Hallmark down?? GOOD luck :)

Wow thats a good idea, as a seller I know I couldn't turn down an extra $10 and a hallmark card.

Well, I finally have my account reinstated. I just took care of 2 out of 4 unpaid items and when a seller removed the strike, eBay reinstated my account. I thought I would need to get at least 2 strikes removed. I am glad to be able to reinstate my account since the seller that was very cooperative at the beginning and had received my payment refused to remove the strike because eBay would charge him the final value fees for the transaction and he did not want to reduce his profit further
