MC063 Notice: eBay Account Limited

Hi guys,

I just started selling on eBay and I now have 25 positive feedbacks as a seller so yesterday I decided to post and sell my laptop and today I got hit with a MC063 Notice: eBay Account Limited but all of my 10 listings are still active

Can anyone tell me what is going to happen to my account? is it going to get suspended or are my listings going to be taken down within the next few days????

Here is the email eBay sent me:

MC063 Notice: eBay Account Limited- XXXXXX

Dear XXXXXX,

Welcome to selling on eBay. When you recently listed an item, you may have seen a message letting you know that you reached a limit on the number of items that you can list in certain categories. Don't be discouraged. All new sellers are limited to the number of items they can list in certain categories, such as PC Desktops, Televisions, and Flash Memory Drives. For a full list of categories, see:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/new-seller-limits.html

Buyers who shop in these categories tend to have high expectations, so we want to make sure all of our new sellers can deliver the level of customer service needed to succeed on eBay. You'll be able to list again in 30 days, and we encourage you to continue providing a positive buying experience.

To help you become a successful seller, we've outlined the basic requirements that all sellers need to meet in our selling practices policy:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/...practices.html

Here are some tips on how you can meet and exceed buyers' expectations:
-- Accurately describe your item within the listing.
-- Use tracking, Delivery Confirmation, or Signature Confirmation, and send this information to the buyer after you ship the item.
-- Respond to buyers' questions promptly both during the buying process and after they buy the item.
-- Respond quickly and professionally to buyer concerns or problems.
-- Act professionally throughout the sale.

These tips can put you on track for having limits removed, or even becoming an eBay Top-rated seller.

We wish you the best on your way to becoming a successful seller, and thanks for choosing to sell on eBay.

Thanks,

eBay

Nothing you can do, u can not list in those categories for another 30 Days.

Just list in "other." Done it many times. Once 30 days are up, start listing in that category. The only draw back I would see would be less views. I notice some of my items go for less when I list in that category.

Thank you!

If your selling limit is 10 and you list 1 more auction makes it 11 so it gets taken off i believe.

yeah same thing here. I just sold 5 items here and only 5 items are still active and they limit my account for 30 days. Very bad for me. :faint:

I would like to update my progress since starting this thread back in October, im lucky to say that I got my blue star just last week as seller with another new account, so far so good :thumb:

When I started selling my first item back in November of 2010, eBay limited me on that same day and wanted my ID and bill info, well I fax the info to them and took them up 2 weeks to response and unlimit my stealth account.

Since then I never had any limits but I did see the message that i was only limited to selling 10 items per month. Well, Ever since eBay approved my account Ive been listing items and just kept selling and selling in the same category without any limits. I must have sold at least 30 items in my first month under the same category for less than $10 each.

My advice is use Auctiva but first get your feedback up to at least 5fb by buying some very cheap items (one everyday until you have at least 5 feedbacks) once you do then start selling low risk items and hopefully you wont have an issue from there on

Well, thats my experience hope you guys find this helpful

Thanks to everyone who responded with their helpful advise :hail:Now looking forward to getting back my ebay powerseller status :D

WIll auctiva works on this issue. Also under 30 days limit if i choose auctiva and use that limit category will ebay suspend me ?

alchype 02-05-2011 08:16 PM

Well I never had that issue, im guessing since youre still limited there might be some problems but if I was you I will still try Auctiva and also set your item listings to private see if that helps

boosters 02-06-2011 12:30 AM

How should i remove the limit on stealth account ?

alchype 02-06-2011 05:21 AM

just wait for the new month, thats all you can pretty much do

boosters 02-07-2011 02:25 PM

I already sold 10 items and when i adding one more item it showing your limits are exceeds you cannot sell. How many feedback i have to gain to remove these limits. Also will ebay ask me to provide me the ID cards etc for verification ?:eek::pry::pry:
