NARU after 8 years with over 99% FB !?!?

Hello all, I'm a frustrated newbee here. Hopefully someone can offer advice on what I should do. Here's my story: I've been buying and selling on ebay for nearly 9 years now. Over 99% feedback rating. Nearly 1000 total positives, and 5 neg's in over 8 years. Three negs came recently, in the last year, 2 in OCT 07 and one in nov 07. One due to a shipping error (package arrived late), one because the item was no longer available and I gave the guy a full refund. (he still felt compelled to neg me) And lastly I had a guy who bought my used PDA, played with it for a month, then demanded to return it for a refund....... after a month...... and my auction CLEARLY stated no refund after three days. Anyway, ebay emailed me a warning for 'seller non-performance'. Basically they gave me thirty days to improve or else. Oh, but in the mean time you can't sell anything. I don't know how they expected me to improve my selling performance when I was not allowed to sell anything!? I did, however, buy several items and received all positive FB for them. Then I get the "we warned you, now your suspended permanently" email. I emailed ebay and got what seemed to be a basic form letter to the effect of, "we made our decision, don't bother us further."
For anyone still reading my long-winded post, what should/could I do at this point???
Thanks in advance, - insetionfee

There is nothing that you can do, just start from the scratch :( These days eBay is getting strict for both Buyer and Seller.

HI-
Know what you're feeling, brother..
- I used to spend 18 hrs/day of my life listing/answering questins/packaging
for 4 PS accts, 3 gold, 1 platinum.
--all gone with 1 email!
---- Sounds like yours is not so severe,though..
----DO you have an acct mgr
WELL--let me Back up----DO NOT BY ANY MEANS OPEN UP A NEW EBAY ACCT ON THAT PC WHILE THIS STUFF IS PENDING..
( if you wanna try something- read the guide- go to the local library-- set uo an acct in your Moms name-- with -0- Matching against you, -0- pictures, -0- descriptions,NOTHING)--

NOw-- if you have an acct mgr- I would call her, if you havent already.
-- Now, They gave you the ax for the Negs ++++ the NUETRALS (even though they wont say that)--
SO- Your GOAL-- GET RID OF EVERY NEG ++++ EVERY neutral... THEN,
and ONLY then, APPEAL your case.., and start calling them..
---WAYS-- well, Youre gonna have to eat some crow.
--- if its small amounts, just go into paypal-- issue refunds to those Neutrals + negs ,, then see if they will reverse the action with mutual withdrawl,,
ALternative.. use Square Trade... to get them removed..
--ALL the while--- DO NOT then, try to check your OLD email from the new acct, vice versa..
(makes me nervous even talking about it)-- Hope you havent done it already, (like stupid me did, thinking I could beat em.... Ha!
-- You cannot beat Ebay without Aspkins System! Period. And yes, My oldest account is over 10 years old, Its a buyer acct, thank goodness still up..

Too late.
I opened a biz. ebay account the day I was shut down. They killed that account within a few days. Then I used the wife's account and sold one item before they shut that account down as well. ( she's not real happy with me ) It just seems so unreasonable to me to be shut down like this without being able to even defend myself.

How does a person have a neg removed? I mean, lets say I left you a neg. and then agreed to remove it. How do I, as the person who left you a neg, get it removed from your FB??

DogFacedBoy 01-25-2008 10:02 AM

I believe that you have to write the other party and agree to mutually withdraw FB. It'll come off your score, but will be noted that there was a FB withdrawn. Just try to get as many positives as you can to at least move it to the next FB page :D

insertionfee 01-26-2008 05:53 PM

I did try to get some positives after my 'warning', but I was not allowed to sell, so I bought stuff and got pos. FB..... but in the end it didn't help. Perhaps I'll try to contact the buyers that neg'd me, but I don't have the feeling they would be willing to help me out on this.

Hey, Insertion Fee- DONT Give up..
--If this is the ONLY reason you're off, then you're in 99% BETTER SHAPE than most of us..
--I was banned for LIFE--no PAROLE....

It's a new policy. They're getting rid of all the scammers on ebay. Delete your cookies and change your ip.

koalawash 01-26-2008 07:25 PM

..getting rid of all the scammers, and then some!

Ballsack 01-27-2008 05:20 AM

The eventual goal at Ebay is to get rid of all the thieves and crooks with less than 100% feedback.

koalawash 01-27-2008 01:38 PM

Wouldn't that mean it just takes one angry buyer with a spiteful or retaliatory neg, and then BOOM you're gone no questions asked??

insertionfee 01-27-2008 01:49 PM

Umm.... I'm not sure how we got from me to "scammers, thieves, and crooks"

DogFacedBoy 01-27-2008 01:49 PM

Seemed kind of short-sighted and ill-conceived to me...

OF COURSE THE PERFECT POLICY CHANGE FOR EBAY, RIGHT IN CHARACTER!

insertionfee 01-27-2008 09:43 PM

It's sort of like your guilty without a chance to defend yourself. Ebay never asked me anything or let me give MY side of the story.

ivegotinfo 01-28-2008 03:19 PM

try to appeal, fax in the appeal forms

bigrab54 01-28-2008 07:36 PM

Ebay dont do fair. SIMPLE its us against them lol

Chris Hanson 01-28-2008 08:41 PM

Okay the reason Ebay suspends so many is because they know that you will register again and again. The more people registered per year the better they will look to the investors and stock market plain and simple.
