Hi, hope someone can help. I have an 8 year old UK business ebay account with 100% feedback and I live in France. Recently I have started working with a partner in China and he is listing (or trying to list on the account). He is using a French ip to do this. Everytime he lists or even accesses the account I get a MC033 taking all auctions down and a MC010 which means i have to changepassword and speak to livehelp.


I have told them that I have business partner accessing from another part of France and everytime they say that is fine and they have made a note of it and assure me it won't happen again.


I'm pretty worn out now with the hours of waiting on live help and wondered if anyone had any suggestions as to how he could post.

He's either logging into another Chinese eBay account at the same time and the 2 accounts get linked, then suspended ...or it's because he's using a proxy to log into the account. That will also do it. Whatever you do, don't tell them that he's accessing the account from China, or it may be suspended for good.

dont be so lazy, list the stuff yourself and just get him to post it...
french IP in china... i dont think so... proxies dont work

Yup eBay has a solid handling on using proxies - need to DIY and stop the activity that's causing you headaches.

That sounds like a headache, why don't you just do the listing?
