ebay and dial up.
 

I just started to use dial up to try and keep my accounts open.

I have opened accounts with 2 different dial up internet providers.

My question is.

Do I have to access the samemy ebay account always from the same internet provider or not as long as it is a different ip address then my suspended account.

Any help is appreciated.

I would keep each account associated with the ISP that you signed up with, that way if one ever gets hit it will only take down the ones using that ISP (in theory). I keep the accounts that I use aol for completely confined to signed on with aol and vice versa. Six months in and no linking yet.

Ebay prefers the same ip always--

Even on running many accts- as long as you keep a log--
( i dont know how some of the guys do with excel,etc as i cant work excel)-
But i keep it on notecards--on the back..
EX;
On the front- my white label says -- Ebay Id: ROSEY1234
then all acct info- passwords/security questions/email logins/auctiva logins
--date acct created/ where i created it-
Then on the Reverse--
a.) The Debit card i used, with the cid + exp
b.) the first item listed, with its item number- (so i can check on it without logging in)-
c.) Whether a Paypal acct is associated with it or not
d.) The IP address where i created it, and then any subsequent ip entries
e.) any ALERTS from ebay for this acct-date/time/reason
f.) If this acct got suspended- the date/ reason, then a big red "S" goes on the front of the card+ it goes in another section in my card box..
--BTW- I use 4x6 cards, got a $9.99 locking metal box at Staples,
-- I carry it everywhere- with extra debit cards in the back-ready to use
--highlighter-post its, and several library cards

ebaylovehate you damn animal u...lol.....i wish i was that organized....as far as aol goes, EVERYTIME i log in, a different IP is present.....is this good ???? as it seems like ill never log into my ebay acct from the same ip with this theory !

I don't think that a different IP is as big as long as it shows that you are using the same ISP. IOW don't go back and forth from AOL to sbc. Just my $$.02

Too late... CASHDOLA's probably scammed tens of thousands of dolllars by now, sipping champagne in tahiti's Nui's Resort... while us victims sit here and type warning messages.

Anyone knows any ways to catch him?
