Shill bidding leads restriction and suspension
 

I feel terribly regret that I shouldn't have done that-- shill bidding. I did it more for fun than for sales. I mainly sell $500~1000 items and I shill bidding on my $30 little things.
If my account can be reinstated, I would never do that again.

All my listings were removed saying I can only list fixed price items for 14 days. HOWEVER, ebay sent another email requesting photo id, credit card billing, proof of purchasing or possessing my products etc. I faxed photo id, credit card billing etc. Two days later, They say they need manufacturer or supplier invoice.
I then faxed again supplier's invoice. Now it's been 4 days, I never receive any reply.
There is no contact number of the supplier on the invoice. There is only the company name and their stamp. I don't know if that will be an issue.

I'm so much worried about my account. Am i going to be permanently suspended?

Any one helps me from drowning into this?

thats just mugging people off . come on you know thats not really acceptable. You can try to say you learnt your lesson and wont do it again

i think you should say goodbye to your account........and open another 10,from reading the forumers posts it seems like ebay ask for all this info and then chuck you down the drain anyway,but then again,if they are still letting you sell buy it now,that could be a sign that you may get back on,is this your first restriction of any type?

Seems to me you terribly regret getting caught. And so you should. You may be spared by ebay for doing this. Sometimes they are kind. There is no guarantee of that.

Since you are saying they are taking some time to respond to the info etc, I think you may have problems.

Learn from this, ebay do not care.

This is a huge lesson for me. I don't know if i can get back my account.
I was asked to fax invoice and I did fax invoice of my supplier in China.

Will that cause a problem? I know ebay have prejudice towards Chinese supplier.

if your supplier is legit you may be ok,but gb said you may have problems if their taking too long and i aint goin to disagree,but its not over till the big fat ugly ladyboy from ebay sings

At the best we can only go on what has happened to others. The account may stay suspended.

Account reviews can take anything from a couple of days to many days. You might try Live Chat. I know more emails are pointless. :tears:

I tried live chat many times and tried calling in as well. But i found those people that pick up the phone or chat with you don't have too much information. They just say "your case is on queue"

I feel so badly upset and sorry. What a silly mistake i made.

One question is WHY? Why risk shill bidding??

Are you kidding me? Shill bidding is like stealing almost.
How would you feel if someone jack up prices for the stuff that you really want to buy, for absolutely no reason but greed?

OK now you know. Now stop beating yourself up over this. Just figure out how to get started again on Ebay. You aren't the first or even the millionth person to have done this. Not everyone gets caught (especially years ago) but you did, so you can use this lesson to your advantage and restart again with more knowledge than you had before.
