Public Shared Computers (public library, Fedex office)
 

Hello,

Anyone know anything about using public shared computers, ie public library, Fedex Office computers? I don't own a pc and use computers all across the city at various locations. I have used several computers on suspended account at these locations. Is there any way to set a user account on these? Anyone ever got suspended by using one of these machines?

I would think its not safe, because if someone logged into their suspended ebay account an hour before you got there, and then you login with yours, boom!

i dont think ebay only looks at that...they would look at other criteria as well.
if they see a lot of people logging into their account from the same ip/computer....naturally they would think that it is a public computer thus, i think they would look also at other criterias

Yeah I use a computer that my ebay got suspended, and my buddys got suspended from. But I still log into it everyday. Same ip! Its my eBay that I sell like 2 items a week on but still.

You mean you are using the same computer for several accounts? still ok now? I got my accounts deleted by amazon due to using the same computer in library.

Kudos for using the search, but this thread is now nearly 4 years old and transitionfighter has not logged into the forum for over 2 years.

You should not be using public computers. You need to be in control of the IP address
