Can you be reinstated after suspension?
 

Hi all,
Has anyone ever been reinstated after being "indefinitely suspended" on ebay for seller non-performance?

I was hospitalized and had auctions running and their resulting items were shipped about 10 days later than I normally ship resulting in 3 negatives (2 from same person).

I tried to explain this to ebay but multiple emails back and forth did not resolve it. The account is 4 years old, I really do not want to lose it. I recently re-contacted the individuals who left negatives and pleaded with them to contact ebay and remove the negatives.

Any one ever get reinstated in this way? Any ideas to salvage this account?

Great thanks much! You have been such a great help to me lately. Words cannot even tell you how grateful I am to have found you here on this forum.

I came here because I just wanted to sell my items and not lose my ebay sales. I do not think some people realize how devastating it can be to lose your only income. People do come here as their last resort. Thank you also to Aspkin for creating such a wonderful site to share ideas and thoughts.

I had been using my ebay cash to pay for my moms bills as she has a huge mortgage and I do not want her to lose her home. Now I am scrambling, trying to figure out how to get back on ebay and stay there in order to keep my funds coming in. I had no idea that the ebay system was so cruel and matter of fact about things. It definitely pays to have a backup account or two with different identities on them so that if you do get blocked, you will not suffer loss of income. There is no cookie cutter answer to any of our situations, thats what makes this site so great. There are so many differing and fantastic ideas that are shared here.

Thanks to all of you who post such great info to keep us up and running as some of us depend on the income for our expenses.

I thought sellers were allowed 10 business days to ship?

I do my best to ship within 3 and that's still not good enough for some people - but with those ppl I remind them we're allowed 10 days. Most of them have 0 feedback and are just being jerks.

The new feedback system is going to kill some sellers with the buyers that get mad when their item isn't to their mailbix in 2 days. They'll be leaving negs for no reason and there's nothing the seller can do about it. :(

Keep writing to ebay and go to their live help monkeys to try to get someone to talk to you there. Don't give up!
