ebay says im going to be suspended

I just received a message from ebay telling me that i've had too many disputes on my account and that if it continues i will be suspended.
Ive been a member now for 5 years and had about 10 disputes where the item wasn't as described which i returned.
I have one item currently 2 weeks overdue and im itching to open up a paypal dispute but scared to do so now after this message,
If i do get suspended by ebay what are my chances getting reinstated and will my paypal account still be operational ?

Your chances for getting reinstated due to SNAD disputes are quite slim... best to start over now with a fresh account, and then always keep one ready as a backup.

Yeah once paypal makes a decision its pretty much permanent unless they made an error and even then they probably wouldn't care. So just go stealth.

You are planning to open your 11th dispute as a buyer? Why would you be "itching" to open another dispute? Seems like you're hard to please although 2 weeks is a long time for a package unless it's coming from another country. Maybe you just have unusually bad luck with Ebay but I'd like to read the feedback you've left for sellers...might be entertaining.

what if the seller refunds without opening a dispute then is that seen as still opening a dispute in the eyes of ebay and paypal and does that go against you?

First Edition 12-03-2010 07:41 AM

wait wait.... you open disputes as a buyer?!?!? Ugh. What ever happened to just asking to be able to return something!?

I'm not helping you any more.

It's people like you who make of eBay a scary place. Why don't you first just contact the sellers by yourself instead of opening disputes? You should give them the chance to respond and solve the issues by themselves and only use the dispute option if they fail to respond. I doubt that the 10 disputes that you opened are all due to non-responding sellers. Plus, opening a dispute for 2 weeks overdue? Have you ever heard of the Xmas postal traffic? I hope that indeed eBay suspends you because you are the kind of people that make of eBay an ugly place, plus me as a seller would never like to have a buyer like you. If I knew your ID I would block you in a blink.

Welcome to the forums duckbutter.

Sadly as a buyer, you will find that our forums are geared heavily towards seller so you won't find much help and, as you have noticed, even more negative views towards you with your "dispute methodology".

That being said, I would contact sellers before doing disputes repeatedly. All the best.

"I'm itching to open a dispute" What a LOSER! Ban this bum... I hope you get empty boxes every time you order.

NYCLiz 12-05-2010 03:28 AM

I am just curious....How many times have you tried to contact the overdue seller? If you open a case instead of trying to work with them, with no other reason to suspect a problem, you are just a jerk. This is coming from an ebay buyer.

:lol::pout::lol: that made me laugh

he must be that sort of buyer that buys an item and next day starts asking where it is
