Half.com suspension - baffled, given super odd answer - need help!

I am among the frustrated and confused. I got suspended yesterday out of the blue. I thought it might be because I had opened 3 accounts in the last year - tho I dont recall reading that you couldnt have more than one. The first two I tried to close but they said - ridiculously - that you have to wait six months! So I stopped using those accounts - and both of them had positive feedback (along with the one that just got suspended!) Can I use either of them again without Half connecting them? When I stopped using them I removed all my information, tho I dont know if that means anything.

I had only been using this new account for about 5 weeks when this happened. I am currently unemployed and needed this money to get by. I guess I will not be getting the $350 Im owed now - tho never was it said in the NON-INFORMATIVE email that I received from ebay/half that I wouldnt. And here I sent out all the stuff! Ive read the stories about how you have to send them all sorts of information and may STILL not get paid. I dont want to send any information. I guess you cant get reinstated without it?

Any way, I did an ebay live chat - since you cant get anyone on Half - and to my shock the rep came back saying it was due to Fraud Selling or Listings. I was like WHAT? I asked what item or items and was told they didnt (supposedly) have access to my Half account. The rep then said - also to my shock - that the *reason* was Selling Underpriced Items. Again, I was like WHAT? All Half DOES is sell way underpriced. You cant get a fair price to save your life. But how was I selling underpriced? I either sold for the same price as the lowest seller OR one penny less.

Yep thing i learned about half.com NEVER ship your items untill u get paid.

I always sold items around a week before payout so i could wait till the payout came then ship out the items cause u never know when ur going to get banned and screwed by half.com

What really annoys me is that they said NOTHING in the email about keeping the money. And this happened *one day* before I was to be paid. I had hoped that since it was so late, they couldn't do it, but I assume that's not correct?

Do I have anything to worry about - legally - here? Or do they (Half/eBay) just get rid of you? There were no suspensions on my other accounts. I just stopped using them.

yeah i wouldnt worry about it there not going to do anything to u if anything what there doing is illegal by stealing your money.

You can get your money in 90 days, if you can prove your identity. If it is a stealth identity and they do not accept the documents you provide, then they will turn the money over to the department that handles unclaimed funds in the state the account is registered in.

Half.com has been closing accounts left and right. I have seen a TON of DVD sellers disappear over the last few days. The thing is, they KNOW what distributor pricing is. So when someone offers a $200 box set of DVD's for $69.95, they KNOW the DVD's are most likely counterfeit. So, when they say "underpriced" they simply mean you were offering something for sale below the normal distributor pricing.
