too many complaints = suspension?
 

Hi,

May I ask if you get too many complaints filed on ebay, not paypal, such as "item not as desribed, and not receipt",

Will ebay suspend you? If yes, how many complaints until ebay suspension?

Well, Ebay has implemented their "Seller Performance or NON-Peformance"POlicy-- they take into acount, not only your negs, but neutrals,
-as well as the 4 star system, for the shipping cost, the communication, etc,
--all of that is analyzed..\
--The NON RECEIPT/NOT AS DESCRIBED--automatically get sent to pp now--unless theyre paying by m.o.- but new rules eff 11/20 prevent that-
--they must pay via cc or paypal period.. + money order/check, secondary.. BUT 95% gonna choose cc or paypal..
-- THOSE complaints go DIRECTLY to trust + safety--so be VERY CAREFUL on those..
-- how many? depends on how strong your feedback rating is, and how old your acct is.. They WILL NOT give you an exact formula, as folks will try to beat it..
--My advice- Keep your customers HAPPY, get their goods out asap, answer their emails, and be polite..

I have two complaints with ebay. I have about 2500 feedback at 99.7% positive about 1 year old account.

The buyer are just trying to keep the items and want the money back at the same time.

If I keep them happy, I have to lose a lot of money.

that's pretty much what it takes. the customers will only be happy if they rip you off. if you don't do as they ask they will file complaints and ebay will kick you off, no questions asked. it happened to me, but screw em. it's pretty easy to get back on after reading this forum.

twdell, may I ask how many complaints before they kick you off?

I worked very hard to create this account, and would like to keep it.

Look at it this way.
How unhappy are you going to be to lose the account?
If you refund the money, how long before you recoup the funds?
Now is the time to read this forum thoroughly and see what live is like with
suspension.
If you decide to give in and lose the account how are you going to deal with
recreating yourself and starting again? Will that be worth the angst?
Sometimes you gotta eat ****.
