josteinw | 12-14-2010 01:45 PM | seller suspended due to unpaid strikes - what to do now? I'm a student who sell on eBay part-time. I'm not making alot of money, but around 1,500 $ a month. I'm a small-scale seller who resell wrong-listed items sold on smaller eBay-sites, especially Germany, France and Italy.
I've been a member for 3,5 years and have around 400 feedbacks, 99,6%. Over the last two years, I've had a total of 11-12 unpaid item strikes. This is due to three things - I've been seriously ill and have not been able to pay - I've forgotton (only happened twice) and, the main reason, german sellers do not send me their bank information i need to make an international transfer (alot of European sellers do not accept PayPal).
Due to last reason listed, i recieved four unpaid item strikes over four days and my account was suspended this morning. I'm trying to get eBay to remove two of them, but with little luck. Now, i have a few questions;
*I have around 20 items i purchased over the last three days but which I'm unable to pay for due to the suspension - what to do?
*Is there any way sellers can remove the unpaid item-strikes? According to eBay, there isn't.
*Is there any way i can get my account back? If so, how - and how long will it take?
*If i do have to go through with the Stealth-guide, will this work for me, being a Norwegian citizen?
I'm not a power seller, but it's my only income and i have products worth a total of 10k i need to get rid of. Buying an account is out of the question. I really wanna keep my old account and it's feedback... I would greatly appreciate some advice.
ALSO, as i was 15 when i started selling, the account is in my mothers name, paypal in my fathers. if i delete cookies, change IP and mail could i just set up a new account (ebay and paypal) in own name? |
