EB requiring "detailed dropshipping order"
 

Hello everyone,

So a week ago, EB restricted my account and asked me to fax in a bunch of documents. My driver's license, bank statement, and documentation that I have purchased or are in possession of the items I was selling. So I faxed it all in, including some pictures of my inventory, and now today I received an email stating that my driver's license and bank statement were accepted all fine, but that the documentation of the invoices was insufficient. Specifically, they are now requesting:

We need to see a detailed dropshipping order from your
supplier that clearly identifies who the supplier is.

Has anyone else been in this position? I am going to be faxing in more specific invoices soon, but if someone else has been in this position, what was your action and what was the outcome? PLEASE help, am getting frantic here! Thanks.

EB hates dropshippers. We tried it and they shut us down.

You can basically kiss this account goodbye - i would not waste time providing them info.

I was dropshipping stuff from China and ebay wanted my ID, Utility and Supplier Invoice. So I made a "Cutomer Credit Invoice" in excel using a Chinese VERO supplier I found in Google and faxed it to them along with the other docs... 2 days later I get reinstated!

This was also a very high risk VERO item.

Maybe I'm using a magic fax number.

LMAO!!! You must be getting lucky...I know I can recover accounts with VERO, but DROP SHIPPING VERO?!?!

I don't understand why EB has such hatred against dropshippers. The system they put in place should guard against whether or not you are a good seller (DSRs, etc).

None of my items are VERO. They are all totally original. What would be the reason for them banning you for being a dropshipper? the only reasons I can imagine is because they are worried about it taking a long time for you to ship, and/or not having the items in stock so that you would disappoint customers. BUT, they already have DSRs and feedback in place for that, so why must they worry about where you get your items from?

It's like giving someone a speeding ticket just because they own a sports car. It's beyond retarded.

I agree. Some of these Ebay account reps have mental problems. It seems as though they get gratification from toying with people's accounts. It makes them feel almighty and god-like. Some of them deserve to be castrated.

They're so bad they make mall security "cops" look like shining examples of humility.
