Ebay Suspended: MC021 FPA notice

Hi My eBay account got suspended because buyer opened a claim and left me my first negative feedback. PayPal is still fine for right now. I have question, does it worth to appeal the suspension? Have anyone tried it? Also can a buyer change the feedback? I answered on his emails like 24 hours after his first e-mail and explained the situation, he said he is sorry for the problems. So can he change the feedback if he is willing to do so?

More info preferred. What was the actual suspension notice: age of the account etc. 'One' negative is a bit strange tbf. :pop2:

You didn't get suspended for one negative feedback. There's more to it than that.

It's a MC021 FPA notice.

"We're sorry to tell you that your eBay account was suspended because recent account activity has raised serious security concerns. We've taken this precaution to protect our members while we make sure that the activity doesn't cause harm -- however unintentionally -- to the eBay Community.

You can appeal this suspension. If, after reviewing your appeal, we're confident that this activity poses no risk to the Community, we'll be happy to reinstate your account. For information about how to appeal this suspension, please go to:

Well I had 1 neutral notice too. There is really nothing else. So can a feedback be changed? Do you think I should try to appeal it?

There's not a high success rate with doing that. Whilst it's a generic suspension, ebay rarely gives the account back. It's tarnished now. You would use up a feedback revision: the account has hardly enough to warrant doing it.

Look at what happened to get a neutral AND a negative. If it's the item check their quality. If it's shipping then do it quicker. Dont forget you as seller have to suck up to buyers to avoid their presents ( of bad feedback). :boink:

Well I always suck up to buyers, only in this case the buyer was kind of anxious and didn't wait 24-48 hours for respond. So you saying when account is banned there is no way to change feedback?
