Default MC115 NOTICE: eBay Registration Suspension - User Agreement

Hello,
I am really trying to get back on Ebay, and I made several accounts on internet cafe computers.
The very next day, I get this email for both my Ebay accounts.
What am I doing wrong? Why is Ebay now suspending new users?

Thanks.

MC115 NOTICE: eBay Registration Suspension - User Agreement -

Hello,

As part of eBay's security efforts, your account has been suspended pending additional account verification. To appeal this suspension, please go to:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/account/s...-accounts.html

Unfortunately, during the suspension you won't be able to use eBay in any way, including using existing accounts or registering new accounts. Any remaining listing fees are due right away and will be charged to the billing method you selected.

We understand this may be an inconvenience for you. However, keeping the marketplace safe is our top priority.

Sincerely,

eBay Trust & Safety team

This action was taken in accordance with the "Abusing eBay" section of the User Agreement. Review the User Agreement here:

Welcome to the forums.

You need to provide MUCH more detail if you want help.

Rather, I would suggest you search the forums for answers - lots all around.

Anyhow so questions you need to answer are what did you try to do? Sell right away? Sell what? What time? How much?

You should pick up the stealth guide and read around the forums. All the best with your future endeavours.

No sir, I was only buying.

I never intended to start a seller account with this new Ebay account.
Just buy on Ebay and sell locally in my small pacific country....

I was just starting off buying $20 Playstation Network Cards,
that the seller will just email the codes....so no need for shipping address.

And prior to making the account,
I made sure that I registered on a public Internet cafe computer,
made all the names, addresses, and email different,
and cleared all cookies.

Did all that, as I did back in April of last year, and that account lasted for good 6 months, until I did something stupid and kept on contacting Ebay about unreceived items.

Now, upon re-registering new accounts in December,
the methods I used before don't seem to work now.

Is Ebay catching up to the methods we use?

You can expect eb ay to always be catching up. I am sincerely believing that your public internet cafe IP address is prob on eb ay's list of auto-block/flag new account creation list. This is the most likely explanation.

Your approach is correct but you need to find a new net access point.

Other folx will chime in later and correct me in wrong.

I do not think the IP address of the internet cafe is the problem...

Least to say, I go from one net to another when I need to create a new account
on eb ay (yep. lol. I caught on to what your trying to tell me)
So going to that particular net cafe and registering for EBay with a new email account
was the first time in me doing so from that particular net cafe....

So, you can see why I am stumped as to what the MC115 Suspension is about...
Registration? Because I did not submit a valid Credit Card or what?

I definitely agree that something has changed in the last couple of weeks. I've lost 2 new accounts in the past week, yet I have 3 still up and running from a few months ago. I used all the same techniques from the stealth guide, and yet, the last account was down in a matter of days - even though I bought or sold nothing... simply searched around and watched a few items. And these accounts are not just suspended... i am no longer a registered user. I would love to know whats going on.

Just got this again today....

Did everything right on my part....
I think Ebay requires that you provide a credit card for verification
upon registering......No longer is the email link thing valid for
you to keep your account.

You need to verify your identity via Credit Card or VCC....

Am in the process of making a new buyers account,
and this time, unlike that 3 day account that just got suspended,
it requires verification via Credit Card...

Hmm........I think this one will work.

MC115 is against those accounts that went thru that email link thing,
that didn't get verified thru Credit Card.

*crosses fingers that this works*
