Five suspensions in a day
 

Today I got 5 suspension notices:

2 notices: "mc152 fpa"
3 notices: "mc081 fpa"

I think FPA stands for "Foreign Person activity" kind of sh****t?

I don't know how these accounts got linked up. One account has an eBay user ID I don't even recognize. Weird.

However only one PayPal account was limited... as I got only one notice from PayPal. Which means, my PayPal accounts are fine?

Since eBay bought Israel company "Fraud Sciences" they got better at this.

I never defrauded anyone. I always shipped to customers who paid for their orders.

In the past, when one of my eBay accounts got suspended, and when a customer found a problem after my suspension from eBay, I would not deal with it. My concern was that if I tried to log into eBay after suspension, I would get into more trouble.

So in a couple of instances, a few customers got reimbursed by eBay (which is a new policy I think?). I don't know how eBay reimbursed them as it did not look like they withdraw funds from my PayPal account. But on the other hand, eBay has thousands of my dollars on hold in my PayPal accounts, some being more than 6 months old, and still being held.


The problem is, I can't live without eBay.

I'm sorry, that really stinks :( 5 in one day is harsh and I don't see it happening without them being linked somehow. I'm thinking that since you have a user id you don't recognize you might not be keeping tabs well enough on your actions. If you have a user id you don't even know about, chances are you slipped somewhere.

i never knew ebay bought fraud sciences from israel . is it safe to use our own ip address with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ details on ebay ?

if your own ip address coresponds to where you say you are registered then thats ok, as long as ip isnt banned.

The importance of IP addresses
 

EBay does not put much emphasis on IP addresses as before.

But I guess if multiple eBay accounts are suspended from one IP address, then accounts related to that IP address are more prone to the "severe audit" destiny.
