Default Indefinente Suspension :(

Hi

I am totally shocked, yesterday morning we woke up to canceled listings and an indefinite suspension which seems to equal forever suspension.

We have been selling on ebay full time for the past 8 years, we have 7 children and we just fired when we least expected it! Our feedback was good but apparently there were a few VERO policy issues and a neutral feedback was the straw that broke the camels back :(

The past 24 hours we have been trying to figure out we can/should do. Do we just forget ebay and start a new job track or do we try to get back on their system. I have over 30 pallets of merchandise in our warehouse that we need to move and sadly ebay is the only marketplace that seems to work.

I have been reading up here on the stealth guide, I have a strong conviction to be honest with ebay so lying about my identity, location that kind of thing is not something we are willing to do. Does this guide really help you to get going on ebay again without having to lie about those important pieces of information?

Thanks in advance

Hi Julie...

First of all: WELCOME to the Forum!

I have never had to lie to get going again on eBay, it seems your most significant issue will be a new address. Which can be solved with a UPS mail box.

You may have a few hurdles to overtake? Have you ever given your Social Security number to PayPal?

If so, you may want to start everything new in your husbands name.

AND YES! The Stealth Book will help you immensely, for one it will teach you how to not link your new accounts to your suspended accounts...because when that happens your new accounts will be null and void and you be suspended again.

Anyway, you will get a ton of support here and you can get the Stealth Book for FREE here-------------->

Welcoem to the forum - your story is what many of us have experience in form or another. TGMT has provided good advice and other folx will chime in later. IT's not so hard to get back on eb ay but you will have to do everything unlinked to your old account.

All the best.

.

you have 4 options here:

1. Contact eBay and see what they can do, I doubt they will be of any help.

2. Go to google looking for sellers to sell your items. Just type eBay on the search and that would give you an idea.

3. Go the stealth way, . Just use your nick name instead of you name and go get a p.o box to use as an address. thats sorta not lying.

4. Sell your stock and move on and try and get a job in this economy.

. I personally would start doing step 2 and build some stealth account on the way, while you get some more feedback and get limits removed.

Sucks,if your convictions to be honest were that strong, why did you sell vErO?
Bit of a double standard, no?

What was the exact notice of suspension? Preferable to tell the facts to get help.

Welcome to the forum and your story is similar to my own a few years ago.
Best thing I ever did was to find this forum and bought the Stealth Book.

Unfortunately doesnt matter how honest you want to be, eB will always have their ways of deciding what fits them, most of often, not in our benefits (if not always). Stealth is the only way, you won't regret it.

Both EB and PP screwed us over for thousands of dollars that we could not afford to lose.

You'll be fine again too am sure of it! Just look around the forum and ask questions these guys are very helpful and nice.

IMHO, outside of the occasional eBay horror story where someone was truly wronged, most cases of suspensions are legit, at least in eBay's eyes. Doesn't mean they are right or fair but within eBay's rules of the game.

I look at eBay as an untamed tiger without any eyes. If it smells or senses anything wrong it starts tearing flesh. So it's best to deal with a tiger of this character with a super extra padded, heavy duty pair of gloves so when the tiger goes crazy, only minor scars are caused.

And of course, you never ever get attached to the gloves. When the tiger starts to growl you get the h&ll out of those gloves and run as fast as you can without looking back.

So when you start to get a couple of negs and or your DSR's start to drop it's getting close to that time to drop the gloves and run. Your account gets a 7 day suspension, start emptying out your Paypal account nice and slowly so as not to draw any fire. Once that is done and you have a new Paypal and eBay account. GET THE HECK OUT!! Or better yet you have some nice cultivated accounts ready to rock and roll.

We deal with surplus sporting goods and when you buy a semi load at at time there are always items you have never seen or had before. We had some listings shut down due to policy compliance issues, we were not aware it was an issue and made a note not to do that again with those items.
We also had some new people in training and as that can go, mistakes can and will be made, we always have corrected any problems with our customers, I think we are one of the few sellers that will refund shipping charges if we made a mistake.

Hope that clears that up for you
