How to resolve this invoice problem
 

My account was limited by eBay. They asked my to provide Driver's license, and statement of cc. Both of these are fine by me. But, they also ask me to provide invoice of my items that I sold. I sold some stamps for feedback, I'm also a stamp collector, these stamps were from my collections years ago, wtf can i provide the invoice to them? Any ideas?

I would just give them the information they requested and tell them you are a stamp collector and the stamps you sold were ones that you have had for ALONG time. I wouldn't hide it, nor would i try to p hake and invoice when there should be no reason to. I think maybe you might have been selling to much to fast.

Had this happen way back for some toys I sold - I called up Pa yp al and spoke to an agent - he fixed it so that ID and cc statement was all that was needed. I did not want to provide that anyhow but that is a moot point.

yep just speak to them direct and they should remove the invoice request. On one of my accounts i sold some old dvd's, and cd's to get the feedback up, spoke to them and they were fine. good luck

You have to get creative. Go to a place that sells stamps. Purchase some that have the same value of the ones you sold. Scan and photoshop the invoice so it matches the items you listed and the date, and prices, FAX that in, then return the stamps to the retailer for refund. Problem should be solved.
