Valid Credit Card on file with Ebay??

I lost the credit card that I registered with Ebay so I cancel it and apply for a new one. The bank just send home a new card for me. Now the question is do I need a valid credit card on file with Ebay? Should I edit and put in my new cc number or just leave the old one on file. Thank you.
