Listing via Auctiva to avoid suspension!!

Once you have established a new name, credit card, telephone number and address the best way to avoid being suspended again is to list all your items via Auctiva FREE eBay Auction Management, Auction Templates, Auction Tools, and Unlimited Image Hosting

First you want to sign up via ebay using a totally different internet connection. My suggestion is to purchase a cheap dial up account and use that when you log into ebay.

However after you signed up and made your account, then sign up to FREE eBay Auction Management, Auction Templates, Auction Tools, and Unlimited Image Hosting list via them. You dont need to use your slow dial up connection now. Since Auctiva list your item using their systems instead of yours.

Do you think this is a good idea?

It's what a lot of people do to limit their contact with eBay. You're most at risk with setting the tokens.

Superpak 02-25-2008 02:32 AM

Use your Dial Up when you sign up to Auctiva when creating the token, Actually sign up to Auctiva, ebay and Paypal in one dial up session so the ip address is the same

GreenBean 02-25-2008 02:37 AM

By using Auctiva, you can also avoid signing in to ebay .

Superpak 02-25-2008 02:39 AM

Also after you done this you can go back using your broadband connection to list items via Auctiva. However dont use your broadband connection to login into ebay

Who's Chris Hanson? Does he have some guide about using Auctiva to avoid ebay suspension?

imjustme 02-25-2008 04:47 AM

I'm thinking about using Auctiva too. The problem is they resize your gallery images to crap quality even if you host your own. Anyone noticed this?

Superpak 02-25-2008 08:17 AM

Does anyone here use this method, is there anyway of getting caught?

So what do people think about using this method? Is it bullet proof?

ebayvictim 02-25-2008 07:52 PM

casta....there's several threads on Auctiva. Look under ebay tools and software!

Superpak 02-25-2008 09:01 PM

Didn't see that. Ok i have also another solution to get around on ebay, ui think i read it on these forums.

1. Use a program called "Microsoft Virtual PC"
2. The download a OS via a torrent site, etc.
3. The torrent OS should be a ISO file, then open these the OS ISO file via Microsoft Virtual PC
4. I think you need to chose how much space you give to the Microsoft Virtual PC, i reckon 10GB should be enough, and dedicate about 512MB of memory (If you downloaded XP OS)
5. Now you have a new computer
6. Get a Dial up account and now use this to create a new ebay/paypal account via the Microsoft Virtual PC
7. You dont need to worry about cookies or ebay tracking as the Microsoft Virtual PC is totally seperate from your pc.
8. Now get a Auctiva account and generate a token, however make sure you sign up via Auctiva on the virtual pc, and in the same session as when you signed up with ebay and paypal
9. Once you have established your Auctiva account, now you can list your items using your pc, you dont need to log back into your Virtual pc anymore.
10. If you need to sign back into ebay to, make sure you sign in via the virtual pc.

Superpak 02-25-2008 09:07 PM

A major positive, is that you no longer need to constantly delete cookies, as the cookies are on the virtual pc hardrive, which is totally separate from yours.

Why would you need to install a new operating system if you can just set Firefox to clear cookies when you close the browser?

It's like swimming from New York to London if you can take the airplane instead.

Superpak 02-26-2008 01:57 AM

Because from what i'm hearing ebay have come up with other ways to link you to your suspended account via your O.S

imjustme 02-26-2008 02:25 AM

Thats bull poop. Don't believe it.

Ballsack 02-26-2008 07:29 AM

The concept makes sense until you realize that NO ONE just starting out on ebay uses auctiva. You only use it later on after you're established. If you're selling something completely legit like beanie babies or something you probably won't have any problems since there are no risk factors for your particular item.
It all depends on what you're selling.

koalawash 02-26-2008 07:47 AM

Linked by OS? LOL I can just see it now..

"He's using Windows XP just like that other one we suspended! It must be the same guy!"

Sorry but not even the eBay staff is THAT incompetent.

imjustme 02-26-2008 08:00 AM

Nah, more like...

OMG!!! This eBay user with Windows XP created over 100 million accounts with us, let's shut them all down. That will teach him!!

:D
