Advice for Current eBay account
Hi all! New to the boards, thanks for all the great info!
I was suspended from eBay years ago. About 3 years back, I opened a business checking acct, a PO BOX (I have since moved and now have my new physical address as my eBay/PP address), a business name (with my local city) and was able to open a paypal and eBay account. The eBay account has a business name as the contact info... I'm sure that arroused suspicion, but they have allowed me to stay on and sell for almost 3 years with no issue.
My DSRs fell a tad and they placed a selling limit on my account. For the last 6 months I have been nearly FLAWLESS with my shipping, comunication, etc... and now my DSRs are above the average. I contacted them about removing the holds and they have asked me to call them. I am afraid that when I call, they will ask for my name and I won't be able to answer them. I'm sure the lack of an actual name on my eBay account has made them suspcious. Also, about 4 months ago I applied for a paypal credit card and accidently gave them my name when I applied for it (I was denied.)
I also live with my girlfriend of 2+ years. She has an eBay account that she hasn't used in years and is in good standing.
Should I abandon ship and start a new account in her name? Will having the same items for sale in the new account raise questions with them?
If I call to have the limits removed from my current account... how do I get around the whole name thing? Is it legal to give a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ contact name on a business account?
Also... if I start selling on her account... what do I have to do to my computer so that they can't track my ISP and link the 2 accounts?
I'm sorry about all the questions. I am an honest seller on eBay who, like most here, am paying the price for being an irresponsible youth.
Any help/advice/wisdom you can share would be much appreciated,
