Ebay account suspended. Will I be reinstated?
 

Hello,

My ebay account recently got suspended because I allowed a friend of mine to use one of my buying account to sell something.

He bought a handfull of Ipad 2s and Ebay only allows restrictions of 2 sells a week so I didn't think anything was wrong.

Later I got a message from Ebay that my account was restricted from selling any new but all my posting were left until my volume went to zero.

My selling account I am a top seller and a gold power seller. Ebay wasn't a supplement income but my sole income. I never had had a warning or limitations for anything and now I just got the ban hammer.

It was a dumb mistake and I will never do it again, but do you think Ebay will reinstate after 30 days or so?

I have been on the phone with Ebay multiple times but right now they cannot discuss any reviews because the matter is closed.

Please any advice would be great.

Email eb ay or contact them over live help. To find out more information on why you are suspended and how you can get reinstated.

Is that actually true, you can only sell 2 ipads on one account? What is that all about?!

By the way, you shouldn't let your friend use your account, why does he not have his own :doh:

Definitely contact live chat - this had happened to me before and I worked things out - few weeks and you can be back on track.

Yes you are only allowed to sell two IPad 2 a week on a standard account and you get to sell 5 if have are powerseller.

Yes it was stupid of me for allowing anyone access to any of my accounts even though it was dormant. His account was banned for previous reasons and now mine are too.

I have learned a huge lesson and I'm paying dearly for it now.

is there a link to live chat? i don't see the option under contact us. there is only email and phone number.

Best way to reach them is > Customer Support > Seller > Technical issue or site problems > Then you will see option to call or chat.

I just checked on my site and it doesn't give me an option for live chat. It only gives me call option. hmmm.

i use eb ay.com - live chat via that all the time.

If you Google search eB ay live chat it also returns a direct link to them :)
