Default Want to recreate JUST a buyer acct.

I am not interested atm in a sellers acct and would like to make JUST a buyers acct. I have read the guides here but most of them deal with seller accts.
(was banned from ebay earlier)

For buyers acct I have planned to get a POBOX but not sure on how to get paypal? Any advice?

Thanks

Woox, it is nearly the same way. You are not re-creating an ebay account. You must act as if you are in witness protection and supply ebay with
completely new information and make a new account.
'Information' covers your IP,email and details. Nothing can link back to old stuff.
So, you have a new IP, clear your computer of cookies, ie get rid of details then try this;
Create your new ID and make the account. Keep track of everything you do.
To use Paypal, you can use a virtual card with a bank account. The email
address for paypal must have no link as well. (A new you, don't forget). If you
are worried about names, it is only the routing number and account number
that is used.
ebay/paypal details should match. Good luck!

I found eBay could care less about buyer's accounts for the most part. You are able to get away with more things then if you were a seller. Buyer accounts take almost nothing to create as well.

And be careful, mark the payment simply as a generic one for goods - do not mark it as an EBAY auction payment. At most, you can refer to the EBAY auction # in the payment Notes. DO send an email from your new EBAY identity to the seller explaining that you will be making direct PP payment, and to ship to the PP address noted in the payment.
This sounds like a great idea! Do you do this personally?

Also question then when signing up for eBay, what address and name should I use if I plan to use my old paypal to do this method?

⊗⊗⊗⊗ address or nearby/similar address and ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name?

NO. NO. NO. You can not LINK old paypal to new ebay. NO. NO. NO.
If you think you can do this, then you are not quite ready to make a new
account: you must be entirely new, not have anything that LINKS to what
ebay has suspended.

Thats what I read GreenBean, but what Modee suggested is not really linking anything.

Also I did not know that eBay takes Google Checkout?

Regardless I have better profits selling else where I just want to buy stuff from eBay because I was good at it

OOPS. I re-read Modee's post and sorry I sounded rude. I sure understand about
buying goodies from ebay. LOL.

Anyone else do what Modee does?

Also do you think those "big sellers" or power sellers that take credit card information and stuff is that safe to do as well?

My own experiences doing it this way has been excellent. No problems and when I purchased again, given good treatment and I mean good.

Default No Paypal

No need to use paypal. Use credit card which is prepaid in any case. No
hassles, seller always delighted etc etc. Now where I have paid thro' paypal BUT
not through ebay link, same. Most sellers see this as money in hand. jmo.

HI:
They are also asking Buyers to be verified recently...
When trying to build fb, I use a GIft card, to pay for my purchases, follow the pp link, then on the left--it has an area to fill in cc info, without even going into pp..

I did not know eBay used Googlecheckout? When did this happen, and where can I see on listings if the seller is offering google checkout?

Also if I was to become a seller how do I ask for google check out?

Thanks! - I think i might make a guide soon if this all works as planned
