Can anyone clarify to my wife and I that our bank account can't be jeopardized if I sign up for google checkout as a merchant by selling on Ebay and using Golfclubauction.com?

What do you mean by jeopardized?

I'm sure that there is something in the user agreement that states if you owe money, they reserve the right to debit the amount owed from your account.

If you keep a lot of money in that account, and are concerned about safety, just open a new account and uise that for your business. It looks more professional anyway.

Just open another bank account and tie that one to your merchant account.

Keeps everything separate and simple. :)
