Simon Gift card $1. activation fee ?

hi, i bought a $20 simon gift card, but my bank account is charged $1 and $22, is the one dollar an activation fee or something? i was never informed of this before i bought

I haven't had that happen, are you in the US? Maybe a foriegn exchange fee or something?

the $1 was charged to see if the card was valid, you will get this back in a few days, the cost to issue the card or virtual# is $2 so they charged a total of $22.00:eek:
