Having trouble getting account reinstated​.
 

I logged into my new stealth ebay account one day and it told me I was suspended. I received a messaged from them saying MC169 Account temporarily suspended -- contact us to restore access. They wanted me to fax them

-A copy of your driver's license or other government issued ID that shows your name and address

- A copy of a recent credit card statement, bank statement, or utility bill statement clearly showing your name and billing address. For security reasons, please black out the first 4 and last 4 numbers of your credit card number or your account numbers from other documents.

I provided them the information they needed I have faxed the stealth information several times. Every time I call customer support they keep telling me 24 to 72 hours. Its been a week. Yesterday I missed two phone calls from ebay I believe. A friend anwserd the phone saying hes not here. This is really frustrating I dont see why they won't reinstate my account already.

Im brand new to aspkin and this is my first post please help me. I want to get my account reinstated so I can start buying and selling on ebay again.

What do I do?

@expiredPB - naw I don't find it suspicious - standard suspension steps. Have you tried eBa y live chat? Much quicker to reinstate if you have your docs in as you say.

Thankyou for your reply. I have been selling on ebay for years. But this is my first stealth account. Because my previous account got suspended. I am new at stealth and these forums. I am not a spy I can assure you.

How do you get on ebay live chat? I thought they got rid of that the only option I see is to contact them by phone.

You can access them via technical site difficulties on the menu bar - maybe that's been changed too - have not checked.

It says the live chat is down I called them today and they said it takes 10 days to get the information verified. They say I should receive a email is it normally like this when getting a account verified?

Bro---relax, it took them one month after my stealth account was suspended...They have been SUSPENDING A LOT NOWADAYS...

Seems DonaWho has lost his brains...he sure is going to wreck this company...

DO NOT CALL THEM...just be patient...the more u fax--> the more delay...

Ok thanks for your reply when they reinstated my account will they send me a email or call me? Will I have to verify any information because what I sent them was ⊗⊗⊗⊗ stealth information.

They will just email u...provided the @@@@@ address of the ID is something that can be found on google maps or mapquest etc...if not ITS TOAST.....
