MC049 NOTICE - Questions
 

Hello All,

I hope you all are doing well, I have recently opened up a brand new Bank account, Pay-Pal and eBay only to be hit with the MC049 NOTICE. I was hit with the notice after receiving my first positive feedback 48 hrs after creating the account.

The reason I listed to soon was because, I do not have time to waste and I just lost another brand new account for waiting too long (just a little over a month).

I have followed the steps and have faxed in "my" I.D and "my" Recent bank statement, both showing "my address, and name".

My question is, how do they know who's account it is for? Will they run the name into the system? I really have a feeling that this process won't help me get re-instated.

Has any one had success doing this?

You are supposed to include your username on the faxed in cover sheet or documents.

If your info is legit, keep calling in until you get one of the T&S monkeys to hit the right button. If it is not, and you don't hear back in 2 days, fax it in again, but most likely they will just ignore you or give you the indefinite suspension email. Once they give the indefinite suspension message, move on to stealth.

Getting a positive feedback within 48hrs of creating account sounds fishy to me....

Yes you are supposed to include a header page with user name and such. Yes you will get re-instated if its all legit.

If I were you, I would move onto a new account. MC049 is just a generic code for indirect linking, listing high risk items, and selling too fast.

So just I am getting this right ..

Yes. However, as I have previously mentioned, I would move onto another account without bothering with all that info. eBay often sheds you with lights of ⊗⊗⊗⊗ hope, and will still permanently limit/suspend you regardless of your actions.

Still worth a shot though but when BiN4ry says not to bother, he has a ton of experience with this - in OP's shoes, I would make 3 more stealths and work with the docs on this one to chance it.

Yeah, usually when you have been linked to another account all they are trying to do is get you to fax in more info on yourself so they can ban any other accounts or stop you from opening more.

If it is legit and you faxed in the docs, call in and you will get your answer either way. No matter what though, you should always have spare Paybay accounts ready to go. Remember though you have to now use the new accounts to buy or sell one item, or they treat them like brand new accounts once you do.

Save the docs for ebay id verify when you create a new stealth.

Worth a shot perhaps, but keep in mind that if it does turns out to be a trap, eBay will ban the information that you have submitted.

So I have sent in the documents to chance it, hope all goes well. Incase it doesn't I'm going to make another stealth account but am I missing something? Why do so many member on this forum make it seem like making stealth accounts is so easy .. I mean am I the only one opening a new bank account every account .. Is there a better way over all?

Save yourself some time and buy a Virtual Bank Account to verify paypal from reputable sellers on this forum

That you need a real bank account. You can attach one after you have confirmed that you've manage the keep the account alive after sometime had passed.
