Ebay claim from buyer, will ebay charge my account for the fees?

Hey guys a buyer filed a claim today on ebay stating he didn't get the item. I provided a tracking number so the item is still on its way to the buyer. If lets say the buyer is fraudulent and pretends to have never received the item, will ebay side with him even though I provided a tracking number that states "item arrived" to the buyer?
My second question, if this same buyer were to win the case, ebay will put a negative in my account which is a given right?. The way I pay ebay fees is via a credit card that's automatically linked to ebay. Does ebay have the right to automatically charge my credit card without my consent for the negative balance due to the refund they would initiate to the buyer? Thanks in advance!

Actually guys I had the buyer send payment MANUALLY to my paypal account, in other words, his payment was not done via ebay checkout. If this guy is scamming me, will ebay reject the claim seeing as he never even completed payment via their checkout?

If it wasnt paid through ebay, then ebay has nothing to do with it. This would be a paypal only dispute.

I still put the tracking number in ebay's system and I said I shipped his item so basically if he escalates to a claim, an agent of ebays will read my comment. Even at that, ebay will still not refund him right?

How about telling ALL the facts to try to get correct help.

Mind-reading is too hard to do

may I add to this question,
how is it possible that they can withdraw money from a credit card if thete's no money there? if even a cardholder can't how can they?

sorry guys, I'm all over the place... Anyways just to sum it up: buyer filed claim said he didn't get item (I provided tracking and the item says it arrived today), I had him initially pay me via paypal manually so therefore he did not use ebay's checkout system. In the comments section of the claim, I gave the tracking info and stated I shipped his item. Lets say worst case this gets escalated to a claim for an ebay agent to analyze, the claim will end in my favour because this was strictly paid outside of ebay right, regardless of my commenst in the claim?
