Default Got seller standing is Below Standard E-Mail

Hi, hopefully I can get some advice... ebay sent me this message:

Quote:
After evaluating your seller account, we're changing your seller standing to Below Standard in the US performance program. This account will remain Below Standard for a minimum of 1 month, after which it will be evaluated on the 20th of every month until your performance improves.

Based on your ratings, we recommend you focus on writing better item descriptions for your listings, and communicating promptly and professionally.
I have 95.7% Positive feedback (250 feedbacks)

Average detailed seller ratings Your average Low ratings
(1s and 2s)
Item as described 4.81 1.15% (4)
Communication 4.81 0.86% (3)
Shipping time 4.91 0.29% (1)
Shipping and handling charges 5.00 0.00% (0)
Buyer Protection cases Your percentage (count)
Opened cases 0.86% (3)
Closed cases without seller resolution 0.57% (2)

I'm not limited or anything in Seller Dashboard. There is one case still open from a buyer that basically scammed me. He already won a case he opened, and now he is opening a case that he already left a positive feedback on.

How do I improve this... ? Since they will review my account again in a month. Am I toast?

Should I just refund that buyer that literally is scamming me? I don't want to just refund him. Will it make a difference if I refund him or fight back? The case is the same as the other one.

Thanks.

Welcome to the forums. I am sure other folx will chime in later but I don't have advice on business models without fees so...yeah. All the best though.

To have any chance with this account you need to get those figures up. Refund the a**ehole and find some cheap product to build good figures. I believe DSRs are based on transactions and not feedbacks - but not certain without checking

Well, eBay decided to limit me from selling in that specific category.. I can sell from other categories and stuff... LOL

can't I just list in other categories? LOL anyway yea, there is no point in refunding the asswipe since its no point anymore lol. I still think he's win though... i just don't know anymore.

That account is definitely staring into the abyss right now. Sell a ton of cheap items even if it means just breaking even and not making any profit. If you don't get the feedback up by a lot in a month or less, you're probably looking at a 12 months suspension very soon.

its not just one issue though, you need to improve every aspect. Even your communication #'s are bad. Ebay has several pages on how to improve this stuff. have you read them? they are helpful as is this forum. Its really basic stuff so there is no trick to it. good luck.
