Default Received MC999 & MC067 within 30 Minutes

Hi, I received an MC999 - Unauthorized Item violation within 30 minutes of posting an item. The item was some headphones that were USED, I have no idea why it was removed. But immediately after getting the MC999 violation I got an MC067 for my other 2 items which were a second pair of headphones which were seller refurbished(posted 10 minutes before the "used" ones which I got the MC999 for) and a jersey which I had posted 5 days ago, and have been selling it for about 3 months now plus it's unrelated to the headphones.

The ebay message went like this:

Dear ***** (Email)

You recently listed the fallowing listing:

Item Number- XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Your listing has been removed.

-Community members have express concern with the authenticity of previous items

(fallowed by couple of links for listing help)

the MC067 message went like this:

Hello ***** (Email)

The following listings have been removed because of concerns with your account:

Item number- XXXXXXXXXX
Item number- XXXXXXXXXX

All Associated fees have been credited to your account. We'll send you a separate notice about your account status.

What does this mean? I don't see anything on suspension or limits. How long should I wait until I re-list some items. How about the jersey? Can I re-list that? It had nothing to do with the headphones.

'We'll send you a separate notice about your account status' answers your last question.

Has everything to do with the headpones. You listed on the SAME account so everything gets lumped together.

You've picked two items to sell that ebay does not like.

Neither the jersey nor the headphones go well for ebay.

Sure, you may have been selling the jersey for some time. But one day, ebay decides to flag your account as has happened.

Used, refubrished, give it any name you want headphones are trouble....

Be prepared for less than good news

What are your recommendations? Let it cool off? Do you think the jersey is targeted and won't be able to relist it in a couple of weeks?

You need to do forum search, Google search, and EB completed history search to see how aggressively targeted these two products are.

You will more than likely never survive, especially during this time of year.

A little more research will go a LONG way. When I first started I got busted with BOSE headphones. After that I did my homework and discovered A LOT. There is so much you can learn by the researching the items you intend to sell on eB. Eventually you'll see patterns and notice some items are safer to sell than others.

(edit: reading your post again, it looks like you have a lot more to worry about then when you can start listing safely again. I would suggest selling off that remaining inventory (jerseys, headphones), that is if eB will even let you. Then researching different products to sell and start creating some back-up accounts.)
