Is it a stealth account? If so ditch it and get a new one, if not then call them and try too work things out and see what you can do too get revised.

durdajan 12-15-2011 06:34 PM

in order someone answers your questions, at least you have to say what kind of things you were selling and how many of them and how fast and of course some acc background as techbayelectronics said

FandangoKango 12-15-2011 06:56 PM

Lol, funny how people just come here and post and want us to find answers without knowing how they listed and if they used vpn or what. We should make a sticky of all kinds of notices and what the possibilites are so people go straight to it.

i listed a Bose Quiet Comfort 15 and after listing they just restricted my account and stop my all active listing.

No its a not a stealth account its a normal account.

hackteck 12-16-2011 07:49 AM

was this your first sale?

arahul 12-16-2011 08:56 AM

yes hackteck that is my first sale

rsot 12-16-2011 11:02 AM

How fast you start selling electronics? (A risky category)

durdajan 12-16-2011 11:24 AM

maybe, they treat different countries slightly differently. what they may consider acceptable to sell under an usa acc they don't under an acc from somewhere else.

Which country did you list on ?

If it was the USA, how did you establish, set up the account?
What if anything did you do about paypal:ranger:

arahul 12-17-2011 02:28 AM

my ebay id is from India and i listed product on ebay.com.

My first listing is Amazon Kindle and no problem with that but when i am listed Bose Quiet Comfort 15 and after listing they just restricted my account and stop my all active listing.

hackteck 12-17-2011 07:31 AM

both of those items you listed are very risky you should never immediately start selling risky items on your first sales thats asking for a shutdown sorry you had to go throug it

arahul 12-17-2011 07:35 AM

sorry i don't know this information

how much time give to my id before selling this type of item ?

slapped 12-17-2011 09:18 AM

Opening account on Ebay.COM (USA) with an IP Address from India raised the First flag, making it a SELLERS Account should have got you Limited right there at that point, but it seems that you got a Break from Ebay,,,,

then you listed and sold an Amazon Kindle and got away with it,,,,,and then you listed a BOSE Product,,,,,Bose is POISON to almost ANY Ebay.com account let alone one created like yours,,,BOSE ONLY allows a small SELECTED Number of Companies to sell a small selected portion of their Product Line on Ebay.com (US),,,,,FORGET about ANYONE from India selling Bose Products on Ebay.com,,,you will Never get this account back,,,on to the Next account

If it's a genuine account why not try to rescue it?

You will have all the required documents needed like ID proof of address and TIN no or whatever your SSN equivalent is. Go on the live chat and get them to give you the email address you need to supply the documents to.

They will (in the UK) get back to you within 2 days of emailing in the documents. You can always go back on the live chat and sweet talk/pester them into checking the documents you have supplied earlier than that.

I have done this with success within the space of 6 hours, maybe less, of emailing in the documents. Usually they are happy to look for you and will reinstate there and then. I had one occasion when they simply refused to check - but that was a weekend when I guess they are pretty busy.

Never say never!

Accounts (especially non stealth ones) can be brought back from the dead!

As you can see I am in China but only sell on the UK site - I raise a lot of flags with ebay and have to jump through a lot of hoops to keep an account alive because of the discrepancy. As long as you are prepared to be patient and supply info that is asked then you should be ok.

End of the day - what do you have to lose? Maybe half an hour of time, that is all.

Go for it!

arahul 12-17-2011 10:30 PM

yes its geniune and i go to rescue it.:deadhorse:

Maye be there something hope :amen:

hujimy 12-17-2011 10:45 PM

Yes, there is hope

newjerseymax 12-17-2011 10:59 PM

I am all for rescuing genuine accounts. You only get one so why not try.
