New here ebay suspension
I have went through a nightmare with ebay over the last 2 months and have never seen such poor customer service. I had a medical emergency and credit card debt and filed bankruptcy 6 mos. ago. I did not include ebay on the bankruptcy ( only 288.00) in fees, but when my attorney filed he probably saw ebay as being past due in the amount of 288.00 and included it. The bankruptcy was finalized so I called ebay and they told me I just need to update my pay pal account and then I can be unsuspended, well, it didn't work and after 20 calls being told different things I offered to pay the 288.00 if they would let me come back. I was told yes so I paid the money and my account was still suspended I was told indefinately. I called and talked to a manager who told me I was steered wrong, and that the only way to go on ebay again was to start a new account with a new email. I asked if they would detect the same ISP address and was told this was the only way. I started a new account and within 3 days with 745.00 worth of items being bid on I had my account frozen and was told I recieved incorrect information and that basically I can never go on ebay again for the rest of my life due to bankruptcy even though I paid the 288.00 and was a member 11 years with 257 pos feedbacks a (0) negatives. This almost seems unconstitutional, is there any way around this, please help, ythanks, Mike. |
