Question about logging into a seller account
 

My friend has an eBay account. He is in good standing and isn't using stealth since he hasn't needed to. He has 3 computers. At his apartment, his girlfriend's apartment, and his work. He logs on eBay regularly at all 3 to check on what he's selling.

He tells me every once in a while when he logs in to sell an item, eBay prompts him to have eBay call them with an automated message and enter a PIN #. Is this normal?

Normal if he keeps deleting cookies or getting new comps going - sure.

Any chance he could get in trouble for it? It seems like a ridiculous question because you should be allowed to use however many computers you want. But you never know with eBay.

i think your friend gets ebay call when he logs from his work,especially if the workplace
is more than 25 miles away from where he originally open the ebay account,and also the IP address is from his home is provided from xxxxx internet company and the IP address from his work is provided from another internet company different than his home,.

i get couple calls when i was a newbie on all this and i now realize is because i used to logs my accounts from my workplace 45 miles away from my home.
