ebay suspension dilemma

Hi everybody, merry christmas.

About 4 days ago it was confirmed after numerous phone calls that I was suspended from ebay forever as I have broke some sort of regulation that they would not explain to me. I have 3 ebay accounts .
first one with 550+ positive / 0 negative / 0 neutral – still open
second one with 250+ positive / 0 negative / 2 neutral - blocked
third one with 80+ positive / 0 negative / 0 neutral - blocked

the second and third ones have gone down with hardly anything to pay regarding fees, but my first ebay account is still open but I have an invoice due to be paid on the 30th dec for around £1200. My limited paypal account has around £1500. So I was thinking to pay the invoice now via my debit card already registered on my paypal so that they wont try to automatically debit my paypal which is blocked, this would lead to my open ebay account to go down aswell.

If I don’t act, then ebay will block my account most likely on the 30th december when they cant access my paypal and just take my paypal money to pay the the fees, but then at least I will still have access to £1200 I suppose.

So the dilemma is shall I pay my fees now in hope that my open ebay account with so many positives wont go down or will it go down anyway once I pay? It would then lead to losing £1200 now and having £1500 blocked in paypal for 6 months.

Thanks in advance.

p.s just ordered the ebay stealth book, so I have had no time to go through it yet.

The max number of ebay accounts you can have is 2 and they can't be selling the same item on each one they have to have differente items selling. Even if you don't like it that is how ebay works. You break 1 rule and ebay messes you up forever and second chances don't work for them.

most likely all the accounts will go down, even if you pay your fees or not. If you call, they will tell you that if you pay your fees, they might reinstate you. I doubt that they will.

Another factor is, are the accounts in your real name or stealth? If they are in your real name, ebay will send collectors after you to pay the fees.

cjmixers is correct - if all accounts are linked - 2/3 went down but 1 remains with fees due...kind of logical that eb might be keeping this open just for you to pay fees and hope stays alive???

In real name - yes, could be big problem.

Time to go into stealth mode. You won't get those accounts back and the 3rd one is likely doomed. Unfortunately, you have to start from scratch. It's not that hard though. The hardest part is finding and dealing with suppliers which you've already done.

Thats the truth! lol

First thing I thought was the rule you broke was having 3 accounts. Second thought was ebay is keeping one open to collect fees. Reading on I see some of the smart ones have already answered. So you know what to do.

Once you go stealth no worries about having 10 accounts.

The first time it happens is a harsh reality. However in only a couple of years I have more then made 10 fold what i would have expected in my dreams.

I feel as though stealth gives me a bit less fear on taking chances with certain products and it has paid off nicely. I am glad I got into it when it was still easy. It still can be done, but boy was stealth much simpler a couple of years ago.

If I knew 10 years ago what I know now, I think no doubt I would be a millionaire. :FF:
