Ebay number is not valid!
 

So when your listing your first item and ebay says the number is not valid and you talk to a live chat agent and the agent says what is a good call number to call you now what happens? Will they try to fix the number or will they try and verify you with public record questions?

I have been selling on a new account and I added a number where I have to verify for the pin and the number says invalid or number not available to verify so I put a new number and it goes fine. I have seen a few threads regarding this, but I tried speaking to the live chat agent and told him my problem and he said what is your call number so I quit the chat and didn't try it. I don't wanna risk losing my account.

For people who have tried this what happens usually? I just want a clear answer.
