Phone Number whan registering..
 

I have hashed and Hashed and questioned so much as I can ..ready to set up a new account (there is a ton to this ,to do it RIGHT!) ..

Finally setting up then it asked for a phone # ..well I cannot remember if I ever used this number on any of the accounts I had are all suspended.

Is the PHONE # that critical Aspkin? ..I stopped the registration until I figure if I used this # ..I do not think so but..

That one guy had free phone numbers ..did not work??? but would have been nice.

One of my accounts had a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ phone number and it went like that for about a year until I had an issue with a buyer and they requested my contact info. Buyer contacted e-bay to let them know that the # was not real so e-bay asked me to confirm my phone #. Lucky for me, my account was in good standings and all I had to do was update my phone #. I guess you can go on with a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ phone # as long as you don't get ratted by buyers, so my advice would be to go ahead and use the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ number but avoid any problems with your buyers. After 8 years of selling on e-bay I have realized that buyers main problem is with sellers who take a long time to ship and who do not answer e-mails promptly.

i personally use numbers of businesses locally to me. after registering I buy a new chip for my cell phone and set up an answering machine message on that. I check the messages every couple of days and that has been working fine for me
