Can you be linked by using a very similar EBAY username?
 

Hello everyone,

Yesterday I made an extra ebay account that i'm going to be selling stuff on. I just realised though that the username I created is very similar to a previously banned one. I totally forgot I'd used one like this before.

Basically the banned one was something like: 'BlablablaSeller'

and my new one is 'blablabla-seller'

is this far too risky? The previously banned one was banned about 2 years or so ago. i totally forgot I'd used this name before.

yea, that is way too risky, ive done the same thing but my account was suspended about 4 years ago mad a account name similar and it got taken down.

Aww, the flags are gonna raise. Yep, it is bad to do that. Any similarity in user names & email addresses can give problems.;)
When you create another account or even a dozen more, make sure you have a file of everything.;) If you are really computer savvy use excel or like ebayhateluv & myself use those wonderful stickies. LOL. Not being disrespectful, but work like you are putting entries into the Family Bible...you have records &... you control everything then. Good Luck.:)

take greebean's advice it will help you now and in the long run.

i accidentally created a new user name that was similar to one of my old ones. i have been going good on the account for a few months, but i wouldn't suggest doing it.

always make it different. theres no point going to the trouble of making a new account that raises flags everytime you make a move.

change your username asap.
