Weird ebay suspension
 

So... I opened a new account and uploaded 2 listings each for $3.99 for nonn-risky items... less than an hour later I get these messages:

MC000 NOTICE: eBay Listing(s) Cancelled - Seller Suspended

and:

MC010 Notice: eBay Account Limited - Verify Identity -

So first thing the MC010 message is odd - it was not a USA account so I cannot verify my identity by phone at first place - I have never received this message, it's always MC049 - suspended till further verification, need to fax in documents and such.

I did not call ebay but I did log into my account. To my surprise it was not suspended and I did not see any selling limit on it - I went ahead and tried to relist an item and it worked! The listing is up and running!

I thought my account will probably get closed after 2 days like the message said but it's been 3 days and nothing happened...

I got one almost identical to this, took them five days to close the account - but it did happen.

In any case even if they didn't close it, what good is this account to you if it's suspended or you can't list on it?

Don't bother holding your breath, figure out what you did wrong this time and get to work on opening another one so you don't waste any more time getting back up and running.

But here's the thing - I can list, I uploaded a new listing and nothing happened yet... I'll wait a few more days and see what happens.
