How much can I buy on a new account without getting suspended?

I opened a new ebay account and I will use it mainly for shopping - I am buying for a friend and he has about $500 wort of items he wants to buy - can I buy this in the first month?

I have another PP + ebay account which was opened in Ocotber, had a few successful sales but did not buy anything on it yet - would it be safer to buy from this account?

As long as you buy in a rational manner, you wouldn't be in harms way. Try not to look as a scammer or that the account got hijacked by spreading your purchase on a period of time. Always communicate with the seller and pay in a timely manner.
