MC198 - MC019..Competitor?
 

Hi guys,

This evening I got a MC198 & MC019...

There are only a couple of people that sell what I sell now do you think my other competitor could of got my listings taken down by reporting me?

How long should I leave this account before selling on it again?

I also had another account where I sold roughly 70+ items of the same on and no vero warning on that at all..

Any information would be good thanks

The Notice itself will tell you if it is a Represenative of the Company or a "Member of the Ebay Community"(Competitor)

I still dont know as there are 50 listings of what I sell all the others are clearly not selling 100% legit items for the price theyre going for! Kind of beyond me.

It says that the rights owner have told eBay to take it down but they should do the same for all the other people selling the same items surely..

Also because the other people have used photos from google and ive taken photos I think it might be why ...

Worry about your own account & not what the rights owner should or should not do.

'Phone cases' are still a no-no for accounts.

Say you sold a Ferrari iphone case, it's actually Ferrari that will have had the listing pulled. ebay uk is been checked big time since the start of January.
Items like phone cases with a trade mark name are killing accounts:deadhorse:

Ok I understand however, how is the guy selling the smae phone cases as me selling over 200 of one design and 100's of another and his eBay account was created a month before mine... does NOT make any sense what soever.

What makes no sense is your grave concerns about another seller when your own account is in deep dodo.

We have documented on the forum that accounts like that can & do disappear.

You got caught selling a item that is high risk.

Proper research would have told you that before you contemplated purchasing the items.

Your choice now is what action to take to deal with your problem :noidea:

If you are so concerned about the other guy, let me tell you how you can sell your phone cases and NEVER have to worry about ANY other take down EVER again.

On that VERO violation that you got you should have been given Contact information for the Rights Owner,,If you did not get it ask Ebay for it they MUST give it to you,,Then Contact them, They will ask you some Questions,,anwser them, if they are satisfied with your anwsers, they will tell you IF and HOW to sell their cases on Ebay, If they approve you they will NEVER Bother you again.

If for whatever Reason you feel that you cannot contact the Rights Owner about your items,,well then you do not need to worry about the Other Guy selling them, because he either has gone through the process and got approved by the Rights owner, or he will be the next one to Post on this Thread, asking the SAME questions you are. You simply got pinched first, thats all,,,

Ebay gives certain accounts a green light marked on there account and some don't. Thats how ebay works. The best way around it is multiple stealth and prepare for the worst!
