MC999 then first MC198

Just got my first MC198 7 day restriction ever after getting a VeRo item pulled due to MC999.

I had one other MC999 takedown well over 90-days ago so the restriction came as a surprise. I look on my dashboard and the old MC999 is still there along with the recent one and my policy compliance is rated as "low". It also says it will be cleared if I dont get another violation before July 2012.

I dont usually sell VeRo (read: high end designer) items, and stay away from xxxx items as much as i can. So I'm wondering how soon after the restriction I should go back to selling my usual, non-VeRo items?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums. I defer my right to first reply on this business model question. I will let other folx chime in....we'll see what happens...

Thank you rsot. Any opinions are welcome! I have been on ebay for many years selling fulltime with the same account and am dismayed how a couple careless listings can destroy a profitable business.

I have a few accounts that I sell V ero on and if I get a restriction, I go back to selling right after its over and rarely have another problem for months. So in my opinion if your going back to selling legit items then you really have nothing to worry about but thats just coming from my experience. Best of luck

I agree with bballaw1. I do the same! :) Works with no problems.

Risky and dicey.

Thanks for the opinions guys. Selling anything on ebay for a living is a risky and dicey enterprise on its own!

So far all my non V ero auctions and BIN that are still live are doing well. I will steer clear of V ero (i.e. any manufacturer listed on ebay's v ero participant page) for as long as possible. Anyway eBay is most useful to me for selling esoteric items that don't do as well anywhere else.

When they ask for a mc999 and want you to fax them the information would a permit ID be ok? if your 18. Or do they require a driver's license?
