How long should I wait? 7 day suspension dragging on...

It'll soon be 4 weeks since I was suspended for a minimum of 7 days for bogus vero claims (ie, I was not infringing, but the company filed a NOCI under the DMCA anyway). Anyway, my counter-claim went thru, Microsoft did NOT contest it, even though their lawyers sent me a blah blah blah letter.

However, the real issue is eBay. I faxed in the info they wanted, and now everything is real quiet from their direction. They have never emailed me regarding the suspension, unless I emailed them first. Do they just usually drag their legs on this, or should I prepare to open a "new" account? I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I understood a 7-dayer was a relatively straightforward affair. Now, however, I am a little worried.

did u submit all your info they requested??? you are supposed to send a copy of your ID, Utillity bill and that should be it.. without it they will not reinstate account automatically

Yes, I faxed in the "I will never, ever disobey a eBay directive ever again" paper, ID, and the first page of my cell phone bill. Just wondering if they are joking when they say "5-10 days" and they really mean "5-10 weeks".

I have about 50 accounts on 7 day suspensions for the last 3 years. Move on and open a new account. Unless it is an account with a ton of feedback, it is not nearly worth all the time jumping through their hoops.

Buch o bad guys EBAY...

no other way to put it.

They care about no one. And they are so pig headed, they won't listen to any reason.

Life sucks on EBAY.

That's the thing, It's a 2 year old account, got over 300 feedback at 99.7% positive and all DSR are 4.7 or better. However, it sux if they run you thru the machine like this and then refuse to reinstate you. Would be so much easier to refuse from the outset, but then, I guess that would be too easy. I've already faxed in all the paperwork. Is there anything else I can do to hurry this along?
